Remedial Massage focuses on discomfort areas. Muscles and tendons that are knotted, tense or immobile are massaged with massage oil as well as the rest of the body. Passive stretching moves are also used. This massage is performed either on a massage table or a firm mattress on the floor. Remedial massage calms the nervous system, eases pain and stiffness and improves joint mobility.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

    Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is performed on a massage table. Starting off gently the massage then starts to get harder as the muscle loosens up. Very little lubricant is used so the pressure does not travel much over the skin. The pressure reaches the deeper layers of the soft tissue and can be focused on a specific joint, muscle or muscle group.

  • Traditional Thai Massage

    Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage is performed on a firm mattress on the floor. You will be placed into many yoga like positions where a lot of pressing and stretching of the entire body takes place. This includes pulling of fingers, toes and ears. Thai massage also involved hard massaging of the muscles.
